Backstory

Ebba Kristin Valborg was born on August 16, 1994. Being an only child of Victor and Alice Valborg; her father a highly respected neurosurgeon, her mother an esteemed corporate attorney. The Valborg's are amongst one of the more well-known families in Sweden. Her father is a part of the board of directors directly for the royal family of Sweden. Her father had high expectations for Ebba as he attended Karolinska University. Alice had attended Stockholm University. Although her parents were not highly interested in business administration, they had used their connections to aid their only daughter. Growing up in the city of Stockholm, she knew that she would finish her education in her home country. At only 28 years old, she has made her mark in the highly competitive realm of Business / International Relations focusing on Communications. Obtaining her degree at the prestigious Swedish school: Lund University. Her main focus in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. Fluent in Swedish and English, she is able to code-switch when addressing her audience of choice.Telling herself that only if her confidence allowed her; she would be the face of 'GoJo'. Ebba prides herself in being the 'Director of Communications' for the GoJo Team, now that the merger with Waystar Royco is completed. Out of a panel of four, she was given the opportunity to start her apprenticeship at one of Lukas Matsson's conferences, held during her last year at Lund. She was absolutely smitten with Lukas, blurring the lines between professional and pleasurable inquiries. To this day, they still have a rather close relationship, but only they know what they are to one another. One could say that she was the first employee that he hired as 'GoJo' was still being carefully crafted into existence. A lavish lifestyle was something that she grew up in, so this only helped herself and the life that she wanted to have. A few months later, (post-graduation) she encountered Oskar with the presence of Lukas overseeing in another board room meeting. Ebba could tell that this relationship would cause strain; as Oskar would present himself as the 'right-hand' man to Lukas instead of her. This relationship results in the two often jesting at Ebba, belittling her. Although, she has built a backbone for herself and chooses to ignore it. Life continued like that for a year or two until the company itself finally hit the Swedish markets. That was when legal representatives came into play at GoJo. Being in the business side of the job spectrum, Ebba finally found some solace when meeting Johann Dreyman. The relationship that they share is one where it can be bordered upon a uncle/niece relationship, Ebba often ranting to Johann her stressors in life. She jokes that instead of being a corporate lawyer like her own mother, he would be fit right in with therapy.She is seen as a woman who tends to lean more on sarcasm to cope with the world around her and the 'tech-bros' of modern society. She can be also be regarded as quiet among an unfamiliar crowd, tending to only stick to the people that she knows. Ebba does not like going to outings in which there are people present, she likes the seclusion. She can be quite friendly though, (to the right people), thriving on how others' perceive her. Once meeting Ebba, she's already decided in her head if she likes you or hates you. Seeing that the more connections a person knows, this can only bolster a person's ego. Being employed in a billion dollar tech company, she is cutthroat. Exactly knowing how to pay the cards that she's dealt with, no matter what decides to show face. (So, who really knows her?) She's reminiscent of a viper, silent and deadly. In an unfamiliar setting, she presents herself as 'innocent, kind-hearted'. But, she does have a wicked side, one that the GoJo members know fairly well. She does not hold back her tongue when she is around them because she knows that in her viewpoint, she is the one who holds the group together.Ebba also embraces the arts. Attending art museums was always a fun past time for her, now that she is in New York, she plans on visiting when she has the time. Back home, she had fond memories of going to The Royal Swedish Ballet to watch performances. Right after the merger, Ebba and _____ went out to explore New York, eventually stopping to go see a Broadway show. Although she isn't one to physically exert herself that way, she has always been in awe of the way that the professionals conduct themselves. Although she will always call Sweden home, she has found ways to maneuver around the busy scheduling of New York to fit her own timezone as when she is able to call back home to her parents; letting them know about her latest adventure in The Big Apple. She is still getting used to the 'go-go-go behavior' that her American counterparts have, but she is working at it. She is still getting accumulated to New York, but her passion for what she enjoys when it comes to business is still there.
